CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A Chesterfield County School bus with students on board was involved in a crash Friday morning.
It happened around 8 a.m. in the 9900 block of Midlothian Turnpike, which is near Robious Road.
Chesterfield Police told 8News that two vehicles, a red Toyota sedan and a black Honda sedan, had stopped. The school bus, which was traveling on Midlothian Turnpike, then struck the back of the Honda.
No injuries were reported, police said, and there was no significant damage to the vehicles.
Students were transferred to a second bus and have since left the scene. It’s unclear which school the students were traveling to.
Drivers should expect a slight back up on Midlothian Turnpike near Robious Road as the right lane is blocked off.
