Police search for man who attempted to rob Chesterfield gas station

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Police in Chesterfield are searching for a man who they say attempted to rob a gas station on Wednesday evening. 

Police said the man entered the BP Gas Station — located at 2730 E. Hundred Road — at about 7:15 p.m., “acted like he had a weapon” and demanded money. The suspect left the gas station before obtaining any money.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing between 200-220 pounds, and wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants.
